The housekeepers will wash your clothes at your request for $1.00 per piece. Please keep it to light wash (undergarments, t-shirts, bathing suits, etc.). They are not responsible for any damage. Please place your soiled garments outside your room and inform them. They will return them to you in 24 hours, except for Sunday or their day off. Please pay the housekeepers directly when they return your clothes.

The entire villa was designed by one of the leading interior designers in the US, Susanné Bacino. The bathrooms are Hacienda style and are also lovely.

We have two lines, one is for local calls, and one is for international calls. We offer free unlimited calling to the US and Canada. Other international calls can be made by connecting with our manager, who can help you and will let you know the costs.

We will take care of it for you! At least two weeks before your arrival, we will ask that you prepare a grocery list of staples (beer, alcohol, bottled water, sodas, chips, ice cream, meats, fruits, and vegetables, etc.) for us to purchase on your behalf prior to your arrival so that we may stock the villa for you. Guests are responsible for all grocery and beverage costs during their stay. The Staff will do the shopping and give you a weekly total of the cost. Upon your arrival, please pay the manager for the groceries plus an additional 10% for the service. She will provide receipts.

We would be more than happy to arrange your pickup at the airport as well as your departure. We contract this service with a local taxi company. If you have multiple pickups or a large party, please let us know so we can accommodate your specific needs.

We have a strict policy that our staff is not available or responsible to care for any visiting children or to monitor their activities.

However, because our Villa is so large, many groups choose to bring their own nanny or babysitter with them which we think is great!

No smoking is allowed in the Villa or on the property except at the beach patio past the arched gates. Please do not leave your cigarette or cigar butts on the ground, we will provide an ashtray for your use upon request.

The food and drink costs are a great deal. It roughly costs between $25 and $35 per person per day (for 2 meals), including alcohol. The food is “over the top.” So the value is fantastic!!

We encourage our guest groups (not individual guests) to tip our staff at the end of the stay. The industry standard is 10-20% of one’s lodging (not including food & beverage) divided among the staff.

You will notice a number of people working at the Villa that are not included in the above tipping schedule since they work for private contractors (e.g.-garden and pool service).

Our manager will provide envelopes with the names of the Villa Encanto staff members and their job titles for your convenience, or you can give one lump sum, and she will distribute equally. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to discuss them with our manager. We suggest a minimum denomination of $150 each for the waiter/chef’s assistant and the housekeepers, $200 for our bartender/ server, and $250-$350 for our chef. Note: For groups larger than 14 people, please add 10% more to the suggested tipping method.

The arrival time is 4 PM, and the departure time is 12 PM. Please contact our manager to discuss the details if you need additional time. You will receive her contact information once your reservation is confirmed.

For your added assurance, we have installed safes for your personal belongings in each closet. In addition, every evening from 7 pm until 6 am, we have a security guard patrolling the property, street, and beach to ensure your night’s sleep is sound.
